We have owned and loved Golden Retrievers for the last 21 years. We got our first American Golden Retrievers for my granddaughter and her best friend when they were little girls. They were so amazing with all the children, and we fell in love with their wonderful temperament.
We are not a show breeder. Showing dogs is admirable, but very time-consuming, and often tends to emphasize looks over health and temperament. Our goal is to produce Goldens that are the ultimate family pet, with our primary focus on health and temperament that matches the stunning beauty of these wonderful dogs.
What makes our Golden Retriever puppies so special?
- We educate our families about practical ways to reduce health risks, and we provide ongoing support.
- Pups are family raised on a half-acre property in Sacramento County, Northern California.
- Our puppies are socialized to enhance the calm and gentle temperament that will make them a wonderful addition to your family.
- Health testing: PennHIP, OFA hips, elbows, heart and eyes.
- DNA testing: we screen for NCL, MD, ICH 1 & 2, PRA 1 & 2, prcd-PRA and DM.
- We offer a two-year genetic health guarantee.
Our puppies are sold with AKC limited registration, and spay/neuter is required at maturity. We supervise the breeding and whelping of each litter, and every puppy gets daily, often hourly, handling and socializing. We raise them around kids of all ages, so that they are ready to go from our family to yours.
